The thing that strikes you immediately when you enter Burgundy’s Wine Bar is the relaxed, friendly atmosphere and we are proud of the fact that age, here, does not create any barriers. At Burgundy’s, young, old and middle aged mix and exchange views and ideas on a regular basis.

Whilst Burgundy’s is in the centre of busy Kendal, the atmosphere is more akin to that of a friendly village pub!

It is, though, the range of drinks on offer that has a very special appeal to our customers, many of whom we term ‘regulars’ and friends, and in order to retain their interest, we stage live jazz every Thursday evening and satisfy their appetites with up to four real ales at any one time. Unusual beers and whiskies including speciality beers from Germany and Belgium add to the attraction of Burgundy’s Wine Bar.

Here the bistro style setting and subdued lighting provides an intoxicatingly attractive and relaxed setting where everyone can enjoy themselves and unwind.

Currently, the opening hours at Burgundy’s Wine Bar are as follows:-
Tuesday – Saturday: 6.30 pm – 12 midnight
and
Thursday – Saturday: 11.00 am – 3.30 pm
(Sunday 7.00 pm – 12 midnight)
